What's that sound ?
Why that's the sound of me noisily climbing aboard the blog bandwagon, of course! Shove the hell over, because room or not, I'm coming aboard.Here I will be putting the digital equivalent of a private journal on the web for any who might care to peruse at their leisure. I will endeavour not to censor myself just because someone might read this and come away knowing something about me that I would otherwise never tell them. If anyone has a problem with what they find here, well there must be a rolling doughnut I can tell them to catch up with around here somewhere. hehe.
I did keep a journal during my high school years and when I look back at that thing now it gives me some insight as to the person I was way back when. And wow. What the fuck was going on in my head back then anyways?
Oh. Right. All the drugs.
Anywho, at the very least, this blog should let me travel my own personal quantum leap for as long as I keep it up.
Here's the pertinent info: I am a happily married 28 year old living in St. Catharines, ON, Canada, North America, Planet Earth.I live with my best friend and wife(herein to be called Superwife to protect the mostly innocent), and our dog Maya and two cats, Nike and Tanis. Its quite the menagerie. I am a web designer by trade, a pacifist by nature and an atheist by philosophy. I love all things scifi, be it either books, movies, video games, etc. I am a lover of great books, classic rock, yoga, hot summer days, the way the air smells after a good rain, and warm blankets on cold mornings.
I am always looking forward, rarely back (probably all that LSD messing with my memory - insert weak laugh here) and am a firm believer in living for the now, because it never, ever comes back.
And I guess that's all you need to know until I tell you otherwise.
Damn plastic bottle just doesn't want to break over the keel here. Oh well, maybe I'll just drink it instead...
