- waking up in a bad mood after thinking all night about things that I cannot immediately or foreseeably change
- salt-based water softeners that leave my skin feeling so fucking slimy after a shower, that I'm left feeling dirtier than before I got in
- cleaning dog shit off of a hardwood floor
