Funniest Monty Python skit. Ever.

I just don't get people that don't think Monty Python is funny, Superwife included. I mean how can you not laugh your ass off when you see this skit?
'Everybody else quite content to join in with myyyyy little scheme?'
Christ-in-a-sidecar, that's funny.

In case the embedded video isn't showing up, look for it here.

I really cannot pin down any favorites. I have so many.

The Hollywood Bowl was a great movie, I love the Lumberjack Song,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7fXBhmL9e0 and the "sit on my face" song, oh and the "philosophers song" can't http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_WRFJwGsbYremember the name of that one.

I also love the scene from the life of Brian I think it is, about sperm and the love of the catholic church. BAH!

Oh man, then there is the killer rabbit on the holy grail, the holy hand grenade.

Not many people get British humor here in North America. I grew up with it, my grandparents were loyalists, and had the TV on British channels a lot. Its just like Dr.Who love, its not very popular here.

I *was* depressed thinking that we'd have nothing to do this weekend, but now I see a Monty Python marathon in my future.

Damn, I just spent the last hour surfing youtube skits.

So, here you go mr trekkie fan. Star Trek meets Monty Python.

Thanks for the links. I don't get YouTube at the office (its blocked), so I'll check them later. I'm looking fwd to that Star Trek one in particular.

But did you mean The Philosopher's Football Match? Holy shit, that one is awesome. And you're right about Every Sperm is Sacred. If Marching Up and Down the Square is my favourite bit, Every Sperm is definitely my favourite song. Awesome.

Nope...Its on the hollywood bowl, it starts out like "Emannual Kant was a reall pissant that was very rarely stable"...hang on I'm gonna google

Emanuel Kant was a real pissant
who was very rarely stable
Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar
who could drink you under the table
David Hume could out consume Wilhelm Fredrik Heggel
And Wittgenstien was a beery swine
who was just a sloshed as Schlegel

There's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach about the raising of the wrist
Socrates himself was permanently pissed

John Stuart Mill of his own free will
on half a pint of chianti was particularly ill
Plato they say could put it away
half a crate of whiskey every day
Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle
Hobbes was fond of his dram
And Rene Descartes was a drunken fart, "I drink, therefore I am"

Yes Socrates himself will be particularly missed.
A lovely little thinker, but a bugger when he's pissed.

Sang by the 4 bruces. Freaking hilarious.

Glen found a star trek vs star wars clip on youtube, but I didn't find it funny.

I think I remember the Philospher's Song now. I'll have to watch that one when I get home again.

And I finally got to watch that Monty Trek bit. Absolutely awesome. Thanks!
